Alex Flick is a geologist (MSC) experienced in integration of petroleum well log, geophysical, and petrophysical data for formation evaluation, He is a detailed structural and integrated subsurface mapping expert, along with significant experience integrating GIS skills to maintain and create datasets, cross sections, 3D displays and seismic surveys. Alex has worked in basins across the continental U.S. including fields within the Permian, Eagle Ford, Haynesville, Bakken, Mid-continent, Rockies, Illinois and Michigan, along with extensive experience with Mexican geology (GOM Deepwater) and oil and gas exploration. Expertise includes stratigraphy, seismic interpretation, sedimentology, structural geology and log correlation, project management and 3D visualization. Broad experience with GIS systems, Linux Processing Workflows, Petrographic Microsocope, IHS Kingdom, and PetroMod. Concurrent to his consulting with EnergyMakers, Alex is a Geoscientist Specialist with TGS-NOPEC Geophysical building geoscience frameworks and databases.
