Keith Edgar

Keith Edgar is a Senior Consulting Associate with EnergyMakers Advisory Group and is a specialist in project finance, financial modeling, acquisition structuring and analysis, and joint venture development.  Particular strengths include complex modeling in upstream, midstream, downstream and renewable energy asset development projects, generally, in support of private equity and investment banking initiatives. Recent project examples include modeling of pipelines, natural gas storage, biomass manufacturing facilities, and storage and export projects.Keith has over 20 years of experience in a broad variety of positions related to equity and fixed income capital markets for leading East Coast broker/dealers. He began his career in 1988 in institutional sales and trading of fixed income mortgage derivative products, trading in excess of $1.0 billion in market value for money managers and insurance companies. Expertise includes security and portfolio analysis, risk and asset allocation, and market data systems integration. During his tenure as the Director of Portfolio Strategies Group for the Bank of Texas, he developed portfolio modeling and risk management scenario analysis reporting tools for structured products including CMO’s, ABS and CDO securities.Mr. Edgar was granted a BBA in Finance from Sam Houston State University, has passed Level 1 of the CFA exam, and has earned the FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses. He is a member of the CFA Society of Houston and the CFA Institute.
