    Sometimes last is best!

Because our analysis of New Mexico Underground Injection Disposal Well and Formation Health Risk was the last region for us to profile in our Industry Report, we have the benefit of capturing the latest insights through year-end 2017 in our New Mexico chapter.

Although the majority of Class II injected well volumes declined significantly over the last three years, formation responses may surprise you.  As with the Permian, our analysis shows New Mexico is a very mixed bag of receptive and low risk formations, sometimes abutting regions with dramatically different formation responses.

Consider following us as we provide periodic updates on the more relevant take-aways for 2018.
