Next week’s PWS conference – high tech, spirited talk

    By emagstage | Events | Comments are Closed | 7 February, 2020 | 1

We’re excited about the upcoming PWS conference next week in Houston at the Westin at Gessner (new location)!  This conference promises to be highly technical with up-to-the-minute research.   I am hosting an AWESOME panel of experts and we plan on covering a number of highly relevant topics.

For example, we will have top legal expertise (John Hicks of Scott Douglass & Mcconnico LLP) discussing Disposal Well Protests – Trends, Rulings, and Managing the Politics of Protests.

Nowhere are these issues more relevant than in Texas and New Mexico, where we are joined by industry veterans:

    • Mike Hightower (leading the charge on New Mexico’s Beneficial Reuse Initiatives and identifying science and technology gaps and solutions) and
    • Bill Godsey (formerly with the Texas RRC and WaterBridge), and current expert in regulations and policies governing our industry, and best practices in SWD injection approaches.
    • I’ll be providing updates on what we are seeing with Permits and Protests and Seismicity Research, and you can be virtually assured there will be vigorous debate on seismicity policies and management – in this panel session, and my session to follow on Day 2.

I hope you’ll join us, and the conversation!
